Toni Brockhoven

Toni BrockhovenA life-long resident of Cape Town, South Africa, a vegan of 18 years, I live with two rescue cats and a husband and have been with Beauty Without Cruelty since 2009 and chairperson for the last several years. I have written two cookbooks for the charity, of which 100% of sales go to Beauty Without Cruelty. A third book is in the offing. Key achievable passions of mine are ending the use of fireworks, having animal-free circuses, and ending cosmetics animal testing in South Africa. We've had success locally on fireworks, where it is, in effect, illegal. At home, I am a foodie, and I relax by playing in the kitchen. On this front, I've been fortunate enough to have been invited to participate in televised cooking competitions and a winner with my team for the last one.
