Nabaasa Innocent Kashobera is the founder and Executive Director of the Uganda Vegan Society and Africa Regional Coordinator for Thrive Philanthropy, where she coordinated Africa's first Vegan Restaurant Week. She coordinated 17 organizations in 12 countries and over 40 participating restaurants to participate. Nabaasa's passion for animal advocacy is driven by the desire to end cruelty towards farmed animals in Uganda and Africa. She advocates for a healthy plant-based diet that is good for the animals, the environment, and human health. Nabaasa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Development Studies.
