Liz Wheeler

Liz Wheeler (she/her) is a passionate animal advocate and fundraising leader with over a decade of experience supporting both regional direct-care and national capacity-building organizations. She holds certificates in Animal Welfare from Thompson Rivers University and Anthrozoology from the University of Windsor. Liz has built a career from roles at the Ottawa Humane Society and Humane Canada. She is the co-founder of Secondhand Stories Chicken Sanctuary and Philanthropy Manager at Faunalytics. Liz combines her expertise in research-driven insights with creative, donor-centric stewardship to craft resource-stretching fundraising campaigns.
