India Kandel is a queer vegan activist based in Germany. India writes and speaks on interconnections between animal and queer liberation and has recently edited an anthology on veganism, queerness, and human-animal relations (Queere Tiere – Queere Perspektiven auf Veganismus und Mensch-Tier-Verhältnisse). With a background in organization studies, India is also exploring topics related to human-animal work and mental health in and around activism.
