Cansu Özge Özmen received her MA degree in American Studies from the University of Heidelberg and her Ph.D. degree in Literature in Bremen, Germany, in 2010. She currently works as an Associate Professor at the Department of English and Literature at Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University. Her research interests include Antinatalism, Ecocriticism, and Animal Studies. She has been vegan for nine years and lives with four cats and three dogs.
