Anu Tensing

Anu Tensing has been actively involved in the Estonian animal advocacy organization Loomus since early 2019, leading a variety of projects ranging from vegan outreach to efforts aimed at banning the sexual abuse of non-human animals in Estonia. She has served as a board member of the organization since 2021.

In addition to her work at Loomus, Anu is one of the co-owners of the Estonian magazine Vegan, which focuses on topics such as ethical consumption, animal rights, vegan activists, and environmental issues. Her path into animal rights advocacy began in 2015 through volunteer work at a cat shelter, where she continues contributing her time.

Anu holds an academic background in mathematical statistics, project management, and organizational behavior. Beyond her advocacy work, she also teaches mathematics to adult learners, reflecting her dedication to both education and social change.
