Sole Iriart

Sole Iriart has been an active advocate for animal liberation since the mid-1990s, when she moved from Spain to the UK and became aware of veganism and the exploitation of animals. She began her activism by protesting against Huntingdon Life Sciences, the UK's largest animal testing laboratory, and opposing farms that bred animals for vivisection. Sole has also campaigned against fur trading and greyhound racing, and has been involved in hunt sabotage, cat rescue efforts, and investigative work. Since the summer of 2021, she has been a leading participant in Camp Beagle, a protest camp outside MBR Acres, a major industrial beagle breeder in the UK, supplying over 2,000 puppies to toxicology laboratories every year.
