Penimah

Penimah is the Executive Director of the Animal Activism Collective (AAC), an animal rights organization focused on grassroots mobilization and activist training. She has been involved in animal rights since 2018 and, after co-founding AAC in 2020, has helped bring hundreds of new activists into the movement through AAC's mentorship program while supporting the launch of dozens of local grassroots groups across the United States. Through these efforts, AAC's network has secured hundreds of victories for animals, including persuading over 100 restaurants to adopt foie gras-free policies. AAC activists have also contributed to major wins against luxury fashion brands by pressuring them to go fur-free, as well as influencing some of the world's largest companies to adopt landmark animal welfare policies.
