Lucas Temmerman

In November 2025, Lucas Temmerman left his career as a full-time tattoo artist to work full-time as the Belgian coordinator for Plant-Based Universities, a global campaign advocating for universities to transition to fully plant-based catering.

Before taking on this role, Lucas was involved for 10 years in a wide range of advocacy work, including grassroots organizing, public outreach, and investigative activism. Today, he coordinates different Belgian universities and supports student teams in building strategic, effective, and collaborative campaigns.

Lucas is passionate about empowering new activists, building strong campaign structures, and developing strategies that enable large-scale systemic change.
