Jonna Kallaste Håkansson

Jonna Kallaste Håkansson is a vegan activist-scholar combining insights from activism and research in developing critical pedagogy in solidarity with nonhuman animals. They have obtained a PhD from the University of Gothenburg, focusing on critical animal pedagogies, and have been involved in animal rights activism for almost fifteen years. Jonna has primarily been organized with the Swedish organization The Animal Rights Alliance (Djurrättsalliansen), but also has experience from queer, feminist, and anti-racist activist spaces.
