Amanda Fincatti

Amanda Fincatti is a PhD candidate in Communication at Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona), where she is a member of the CRITICC research group and the UPF-Centre for Animal Ethics. Her doctoral research, integrated into the PESTS project, investigates the narratives surrounding liminal animals targeted as "invasive alien species". Specifically, she explores how stakeholder discourse aligns with EU governance frameworks to prioritize anthropocentric interests over the ethics of sentient beings.
