Laura Broxson

Laura BroxsonLaura has been an animal rights activist for over 21 years, working with many groups both in Ireland and internationally. She formed the National Animal Rights Association (NARA) in 2007, a voluntary, vegan, consistently anti-oppression, non-hierarchical animal rights group based in Dublin. NARA works at street, community, national and political levels to advance rights for animals - the biggest success to date being the ban on fur farming in Ireland. Laura is involved in human rights campaigns as well (anti-fascist, anti-racist, bodily autonomy, LGBTQIA+ campaigns), active in the trade union movement, and local community work too.
