How can we ever get eight billion people to eat differently and stop exploiting animals in other ways? It is perhaps the biggest challenge any group of humans has ever set for itself, and clearly, it's something the animal rights/vegan movement can't do alone. Still, we have very high expectations of those who want to join our club: we'd like them to be vegan and to align with us ideologically in many ways. This, however, is probably a recipe for keeping our group relatively small. How can we go bigger, be more inclusive, and enlist the support of people we don't necessarily agree with or even like?
