We will talk about the eel species, how amazing and unique these animals are, how they are endangered, and why they should be under strict protection. Then, we will tell the story of how Loomus is working on banning the fishing and selling of this magnificent animal, how we have tried to work with other groups on this, and what success (or backfire) we have had in a timeline of one year. Finally, we will summarise the communication between politicians and animal rights organizations, in the example of the eel, and how the issue of non-human animals is not popular.
