"What we gain" is a poetic attempt to show how much we all profit from going vegan – and how paradoxical it actually is that we often associate veganism primarily with giving things up.

It provides a short summary of animal rights aspects and environmental reasons to go vegan. Also, it illustrates how it feels to live more in accordance with our values and build a new, deeper relationship with animals.

It has been produced by one person alone and is a product of combining several personal experiences and skills – in this respect, I hope it can be an inspiring example for all other activists of how they can also use and combine everything that's within them to create something unique for the animals.
