Within a few years, the French animal rights movement went from being ridiculed and marginalized to influencing the French society as a whole. The years that brought the movement into the public spotlight were tumultuous and sometimes divided the movement. Despite backlash and repression, the resulting cultural and political advances from those years are undeniable. This talk will go through some of the key events and evolution of these years from the perspective of an unapologetic action organizer during that period.
