There used to be a time when most meat alternatives were produced by small, idealistic companies. That time is behind us. Today our vegan sausages and plant-based dairy come from companies that are worth billions of dollars, literally. International supermarket chains are seeing there`s money to be made, and even Big Meat is now part of the mix. Animals need big changes, as fast as possible. Yet big business entails a lot of things that are not part of our ideal world. How can activists respond to these developments?
