Ria Rehberg

Ria RehbergRia Rehberg studied intercultural communications at the university Complutense of Madrid and the university of Ratisbona. She has been an animal rights activist for several years and is co-directing the work of Animal Equality in Germany. Animal Equality strives to be as effective as possible in the struggle for long-term social change and prioritizes the impact and efficiency of their work. The group has conducted several investigations into the German animal industry, including duck farms, organic egg farms and welfare labels of the pig industry. Other forms of activism include open rescues, inspiring protests, legal advocacy, video showings, and vegan outreach campaigns. Through media work and social media and online outreach Animal Equality reaches several million people on a daily basis.
