Campaign(s) against non-human animal milk consumption
Bettina Rehberg

The animal rights movement has seen many campaigns in the last decades, focusing mostly on fur, vivisection, and animal exploitation in entertainment. Types of animal exploitation to which the general public is already opposed and quantitatively few animals are exploited and killed, compared to the food production. Recently, with the Meat Abolition and MEAT IS MURDER campaigns, also the focus has been set on campaigning against the exploitation of animals for the food production. The new campaign "Sag Nein zu Milch" in Germany sets the focus on fighting against production and consumption of nonhuman animal milk. In this presentation the motivation and current work of the "Sag Nein zu Milch" campaign will be introduced and it should be discussed, if a global campaign against milk would make sense.
