|Animal rights: 35 years in the making
Chris DeRose, president and founder of Last Chance for Animals, will talk about his experience in the animal rights movement, going back 35+ years when there was basically no animal rights movement. He will talk about how new roads had to be blazed and what it took to make that happen. Chris hopes to motivate and inspire activists to do even more and how to do that. Three short films will be shown: laboratory break-in that exposed vivisection worldwide through media, investigation and bust of a U.S.D.A. licensed Class "B" dealer selling stolen pets to research and "The Case Against "B" Dealers".
