Friederike Schmitz

Friederike SchmitzFriederike Schmitz is a PhD student of philosophy at the University of Heidelberg and works as an assistant professor in the philosophy department at the University of Tübingen. Whereas her PhD thesis is in theoretical philosophy, she has recently become interested in animal ethics and animal liberation theory. She has also been involved with activism – first she organized a petition against factory farming, then she did a little vegan outreach work and now she`s primarily taking part in actions and campaigns that clearly espouse an animal liberation objective.
