After attending the International Animal Rights Conference in Luxemburg 2011 few enthusiasts inspired by the work presented at the conference, organized themselves in a group called Vegan initiative. Vegan initiative is an informal group that works throughout Slovenia and promotes the vegan lifestyle and antispeciesist activism. Recently the group became one of the most visible initiatives for promoting veganism on the national level. Our presentation will concentrate on achievements of one year work, our vision for the future and on a discussion of interchanging experiences with other activists/groups.
