Orla Coghlan

Orla Coghlan has worked full-time with Animal Rising for the past three years, assisting in the movement's strategic and cultural direction. As part of the strategy team, she has helped develop and coordinate several major campaigns, including the Grand National disruption, dairy industry blockades, and animal rescues. Her primary role has been in strategic communications. In 2023, Animal Rising achieved 18,777 press mentions, 12 National newspaper front pages, and 134 TV/Radio interviews. Since then, she has also been an active spokesperson for the organization, bringing the message of animal freedom and the need for a plant-based food system onto the public agenda.
