Ghana, a country in West Africa, has become a growing vegan hub, with many activities, advocacies, and eateries springing up. In recent times, the country has realized the need to shift towards a vegan lifestyle and a food system that has proven to reverse the climate crises and curb various injustices faced by humans, animals and the environment. Efforts from organizations like the Vibrant Vegan Society of Ghana (VVESOG) have played a massive role in sensitizing communities, creating the necessary awareness & providing sustainable solutions, specifically in areas concerning climate, animal rights, food and nutrition, and the entire biology of the ecosystem.
