Becky Jenkins

Becky Jenkins is an academic, activist, actor, and writer from Wexford, Ireland. She holds a degree in law from Trinity College Dublin and a master's in Animal Law from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon. Her areas of interest include animal liberation, human liberation, climate justice, just transition, and social movement ecology. She has a particular interest in fish and other aquatic animals and is currently co-authoring a book on this topic. Becky is passionate about the role of meditation, yoga, and other self-inquiry practices in collective liberation. She is an associate fellow at the Oxford Center for Animal Ethics. Becky shares her home with her partner, three beautiful dogs, and a giant cat called Larry David.
