Stanislav Akopyan

Stanislav AkopyanI was born in Sochi, Russia, to parents of Armenian origin but have spent the majority of my life in the US. I received my BA in Philosophy at the Metropolitan State University of Denver and am currently pursuing a Master in Modern and Contemporary European Philosophy at the University of Luxembourg. Primarily, my studies involve investigating phenomenological approaches to epistemology, ethics, and metaphysics. Though I`m generally curious about all of life`s topics, I`m currently focused on understanding the subjective experience of pain and suffering in animals. During the last few years, I gradually stopped consuming animal products and became vegan one year ago.
