John Curtin

John Curtin has dedicated over 40 years of his life to campaigning for animals, from anti-fur, to live exports, hunt sabotage, dog rescue, greyhound racing, and many other causes. However, much of his work has focused on protesting against animal testing. He has raided laboratories and breeders and served prison sentences for liberating animals back in the 80's and 90's. From the start of his campaigning career, he has specialized in giving talks and speeches, speaking to the press, and making films and videos on animal issues. He is the author of "Jill's Film", a documentary commemorating ten years of her killing while protesting against live exports.

Since the summer of 2021, he has been an instrumental part of Camp Beagle, a protest camp outside MBR Acres, an industrial beagle breeder in the UK, and he is one of the campaign's spokespersons.
