Friederike Schmitz

Friederike, a philosopher by training, has authored three books on animal ethics. She's been active in the animal liberation movement for over ten years. In recent years, her work has focused on how food systems can be transformed to become just and sustainable, including a book published in 2022. She is the co-founder of the think tank Faba Konzepte, which disseminates research on and promotes the reduction of animal agriculture and a shift towards plant-based diets.
