Katherine Hermans

Katherine Hermans co-founded Global Changemakers, a non-profit that has supported over 550 youth-led projects across more than 180 countries, and until 2025 served as Co-President of Sentience, the Swiss Initiative against Factory Farming. Katherine holds an MSt in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge and is currently working on a PhD on the democratic representation of animals. She is a Gratitude Network Fellow and P4NE Leaders Academy Fellow. She believes enabling positive change starts with asking the right questions – and that animals are stakeholders too.
