María is an anti-speciesist and feminist activist. She is doing her PhD dissertation (in Communication) about the lobbies and think tanks of the dairy industry, with a Critical Animal Studies focus. She is a member of the research group CritiCC, of the Centre for Animal Ethics, and she is also a member of the editorial assembly of the Spanish critical communication media El Salto, where she works. Her research and activism interests include critical animal studies, animal exploitation industries, interest groups, intersectionality, total liberation and feminisms.
