There was a discussion after Lilla Galfi`s session on self-development. It became clear that lack of self-care and the risk of burn-out is an issue in the animal rights community. It seems that people might not know how important self-care is and they do not know where to turn to if they struggle. Lilla would like to explore how people see this issue and ask people to share where they think struggling activists can turn to. She is happy to collect this information and further explore this issue if it is of interest, and bring it back next year to the conference.
