People and cultures / Anymals and liberation
Lisa Kemmerer

As activists is there a line where we must stop in our activism to honor cultures? If so, where is that line and why are cultures more important than the anymals who are exploited? If not, how best to approach these cultural quagmires? With wet markets in the mainstream media, and intersectionality creeping into the core of the movement, seems as good a time as any to put this topic squarely on the table.

In this discussion I would like to present a sketch of each side of the argument and then turn things over for discussion.
