Get informed, get mad and get active for farmed animals
Jenny Brown

Billions of animals in factory farms live in crowded and cruel conditions around the world. Most farms today have become not just factories, but fortresses lacking even the most basic transparency. Sadly, it`s easier to see the inside of a prison than the inside of a factory farm or slaughterhouses. Politicians and corporations are trying to suppress information about how their chickens and pigs are squeezed into tiny cages, cows are inhumanely slaughtered, etc. Activists must work to create the transparency so desperately needed inside animal agriculture. By empowering ourselves with knowledge about the systematic abuses of farmed animals, dispelling myths about "humane" farming, visiting sanctuaries and getting involved in animal rights, we can be the change we wish to see in the world for non-human animals.
