This presentation will focus on work being undertaken in some of the most active and successful animal rights societies in UK universities. Animal rights societies create a platform for students to get involved with various causes help to raise awareness about the widespread suffering of animals, and have the ability to make a large-scale change at a university level. The presentation will discuss the challenges, rewards, and importance of running animal rights societies.
