Jessica Postelmans

Only after completing a bachelor degree in project management and one in real estate she realized her passion lies elsewhere. She started out becoming a dog trainer and ended up finishing a postgraduate in applied animal behavior.

During her studies she volunteered as vice president of Helping Dogs, a Belgian dog adoption organization. Later on she helped out in a Dutch shelter, trying to give the locals walking the shelter dogs a better understanding on why dogs do what they do. Feeling the need of this huge gap between the general knowledge on pet animal behavior and what we actually all should know before taking care of a pet animal, she recently started the nonprofit organization Monsieur Gustave. Her goal is to make information more accessible by giving talks and workshops and offering free contribution consultations.

Besides her work for pet animals she finds her way to promote veganism and standing up for all animals by being a member of a local division coordinating team of the animal rights organization Bite Back.
