Dr. Weaver completed her PhD in sustainability education from Prescott College, with a concentration in ecopsychology. She conducted her research at several animal sanctuaries around the world, studying personal and organizational wellness in the Animal Protection field. Previously she`d earned her MA in counseling and educational psychology. Overall she spent more than a decade in direct mental health practice, curriculum writing, teaching, and intersectional advocacy. She is now the training specialist with The Humane League to help create trainings for sustainable, effective, and inclusive activism. She is also studying human/nonhuman interactions for an upcoming publication.
