Member of the Romanian Parliament (December 2012 – December 2016) – as the first vegan ever MP I promoted a progressive agenda focused on human and animal rights, the protection of the environment, the separation between church and state, and I was an advocate for a scientific and ethical education based on reason, empathy and critical thinking in schools and society. The draft law that I proposed to stop the use of animals in circuses was voted after three years and a half of efforts.

The adviser of the Prime Minister of Romania for environmental issues and the dialogue with civil society (May 2012 – December 2012). One of my contributions as a "State Counselor" was to stop hunting of the beautiful species of Lynx Lynx in Romania.

President of The Romanian Humanist Association (2008 – 2012). Our work was appreciated by The International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU) and The European Humanist Federation (EHF), which decided to organize their annual meeting in Bucharest, in 2013, for the first time this century in the Eastern Europe.

Member of the board of the European Humanist Federation – elected in Genoa on May 6th 2011 – until December 2012, being the first one ever from the Eastern Europe. My mandate stopped when I succeeded to get a seat in the Romanian Parliament on December 9th 2012.

Candidate for the presidential elections in Romania in 2009 as a member of the Green Party from Romania, which is a party member of the European Greens. Executive President of the Green Party from Romania (from September 2009 to September 2010). President of the Green Party from January to November 2013.

Executive Director of the first Romanian humanist NGO – The Solidarity for Freedom of Conscience (2003 – 2008).

Founder and President of the Noesis Cultural Society which had edited the first electronic books and cultural encyclopedias in Romania (starting from 1998).

Green Vegan entrepreneur since 2018 and founder of a business which will provide Vegan street food using solar panels as the source of energy.
