Vegan for 23 years, Helen uses illustration, sculpture, photography and writing to change people`s understanding of their societally indoctrinated, speciesist views of our relationship with other animals.
As UK event co-ordinator for The Art Of Compassion Project, and organizer for Essex Pig Save, a UK chapter of The Save Movement, she finds many exciting opportunities to raise the important questions of animal rights.
Helen runs a micro-sanctuary at her home, giving space to hens removed from the egg-laying industry, plus a mixed crew of previously unwanted cats and dogs.
