Nina Messinger is an Austrian author, independent filmmaker and founder of H.O.P.E. The Project.
Since 2006, she has worked as a speaker, trainer and seminar organizer in the health sector with focus on nutrition, exercise and mental training. In June 2011, Smaragd Verlag published her first book, "Du sollst nicht töten! Plädoyer für eine gewaltfreie Ernährung" ("Thou shalt not kill! Plea for a non-violent diet"; The book is only available in German).
In 2016 Nina released her first documentary, "Hope for All. Unsere Nahrung – Unsere Hoffnung" in a nationwide theatrical release in Germany. "Hope for All" is available in all German-speaking countries as DVD, Blu-ray and download. From 2016 to 2017, Nina worked on the English version of her documentary titled "H.O.P.E. What You Eat Matters". In 2018 she started H.O.P.E. The Project to raise awareness of the endless benefits of a whole food, plant-based diet and to share her film and its life-changing message with the world for free.
Nina is a vegetarian for more than 15 years and vegan since 2010.
