Jesse Tandler is educational program director for Factory Farming Awareness Coalition (FFAC). A writer, academic, and educator for the last decade and a half, he began teaching high school students about the ethics of our food culture in 2008, and, during his PhD work, continued to include our treatment of animals on the syllabi of his undergraduate classes at the City University of New York. He now develops and implements curricula that address the impacts of factory farming on animals, the environment, workers rights, and public health.
