Tobias is vegan since 2009 and has followed the vegan and animal rights movement since then. He has a M.A. in social theory (Gesellschaftstheorie) and is now a PhD student at the university of Basel, where he works on Karl Marx`s ethics and critique of morality. Besides his academic work he writes for BLAUFUX, the journal of the Swiss Vegan Society (VGS), and is engaged in online activism (www.thevactory.de).
