Simon Gerlach has a master`s degree in psychology and a great interest in critical animal studies. His research centers around issues of trans-species empathy, moral disengagement and moral inconsistency in human-animal relations. For more than ten years he has been involved in various forms of social justice activism. He is a co-founder and organizer of the Danish animal rights organization Go Vegan.
