Denise and Anton met each other whilst taking part in weekly SHAC protests in London. They began the British Heartless Foundation campaign through social media in May 2014. The campaign revolves around engaging with grass roots activists and encouraging and supporting them to participate in "days of action" outside BHF charity shops in the area where they live.
