David Olivier is a French, English-born activist for animal liberation and for equality generally, on the basis of a progressist, utilitarian and physicalist approach. He founded in 1992 the French journal Les Cahiers antispécistes and in 2001 the annual Veggie Pride demonstration, coining the term "vegephobia".
