Jeanette Rowley

Jeanette RowleyJeanette is a doctoral researcher at Lancaster University Law School in UK, examining the relationship between vegan belief and international and domestic law. She has been a campaigner and animal rights activist for over 35 years and vegan for most of these. More recently Jeanette has turned her attention and focus to highlighting the importance of vegan belief being properly recognized and respected in law, to create the positive social conditions required for the compassionate lifestyle to be respected by the general public, and as an additional way of raising public consciousness regarding the abuse of other sentient life.

Jeanette lives and works full time in the North West of England as an academic advisor, is a qualified university teacher and fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
