Heiko was active in several animal rights groups over the last 20 years and was also involved in founding several of them. Currently he is member of the board of the German animal rights group Die Tierfreunde and helps organize the Veggie Street Day, Gemany`s largest vegan street festival. In his hometown Darmstadt he is involved in the grassroots animal rights group Voice of Liberation. In 2011 he helped develop the concept of the International Animal Rights Conference and in 2012 is also part of the organizational team. After computer science studies in the US and Germany he is now works as an IT security expert.
