Global anti-vivisection campaigns
Camille Hankins

Most large successful pharmaceutical companies (I prefer to call them drug companies) are global multi-national corporations with operations in faraway places. To combat vivisection in research and the use of animals for product testing, we must respond to these companies globally, if we wish to have influence. The SHAC and Air France campaigns are perfect examples of how we can effectively work together to cause change. The recent campaign against Green Hill, led by activists from Italy, provides yet another wonderful example of where international solidarity and support can be critically important. This presentation will include an overview of vivisection campaigning in the United States and the impending launch of a new campaign.
