We are fortunate to have found an optimal location for the conference close to the center of Luxembourg.
The Hotel Novotel Luxembourg Kirchberg
is located 2km away from the center right next to the main road Avenue John F Kennedy with very good public transport connections to all parts of the city. The address of the hotel is:
Luxembourg airport (LUX) has good direct connections to most European and some non-European countries. The bus 16 goes from the airport directly to Kirchberg where the Novotel is located.
You can also fly to the low budget airport Frankfurt-Hahn (HHN). From there you can take a bus which also takes you directly to Kirchberg and costs 5 EUR per trip. The bus travel time takes around 1½ hours.
From the central train station the best way to get to the conference is by bus. Take the bus 1 (stop no. 2) or bus 16 (stop no. 9) to the bus stops "Philharmonie/Mudam", "Erasme/D'Coque", or "Parlemant Européen". These stops are located about 150 meters from the Novotel.
By car you can take the highway A1 (E29, E44) from the south, east or north of the city or the A6 (E25) from the west of the city. Follow the signs "Plateau de Kirchberg" and "Quartier Européen Nord".
Park & Ride Kirchberg
From the parking lot take the bus 1 at stop no. 1 at "Luxexpo Entrée Süd" and ride to the bus stop "Philharmonie/Mudam".
Glacis parking (only free on weekends)
Free of charge on weekends - on Thursday and Friday this parking lot charges 0,70 EUR per hour from 8am to 6pm. From Glacis parking you can walk (1.5km over the red bridge past the Philharmonie) or by bus 1 from stop "Fondation Pescatore" (Avenue de la Porte Neuve) to stop "Philharmonie/Mudam" or "Erasme/D'Coque".
There is parking available closer to the hotel, but they are all not for free.
Novotel Parking
You can park directly on parking lot of the hotel - this however costs 1,20 EUR per hour or 21 EUR per day.
Coque 1 (2 rue Léon Hengen, 1745 Luxemburg)
First 2 hours for free, then 1,20 EUR each additional hour.
Coque 2 (2 rue Erasme, 1468 Luxemburg)
From 7am to 7pm 1 EUR per hour, after 6 hours 0,60 EUR per hour. From 7pm to 7am 0,50 EUR per hour.
Adenauer (Boulevard Konrad Adenauer, L-1115 Luxembourg)
Thursday and Friday from 8am to 6pm 0,40 EUR per hour. From 6pm to 8am and on weekends for free.
